I have been teaching card classes at my church since late 2006; at Yellowbird Scrapbooking since Jan. 2009; and will be starting at Cool Scrapbook Stuff in March 2010.
Over at the Cuttlebug blog they are having a design challenge using at least one embossing folder and the colors, green & gold, for St. Patty's Day. They are giving away an embossing folder free to a randomly chosen winner. This is my contribution. I used two embossing folders; "Textile" for the shamrock & "Spots and Dots" for the green background. The paper I used for the shamrock has a white core, so I was able to sand it to enhance the pattern. I embellished it with some green ribbon and an gold button that hints at a pot-o-gold! I like how it turned out :) There's still time if you want to participate! You have until the end of February. Here's the link; http://cuttlebugblog.blogspotm.com.
This is my first class @ Cool Scrapbook Stuff. It's called FRIEND TO FRIEND and will be Sat., March 13th @ 10:00 am. I'll be using the "Origins" line from BasicGrey and teaching you how to pierce and stitch with floss & templates from Bazzill. You can sign up in the store...there's room for 10! Hope I'll see you there:)
IN BLOOM is my next class @ Yellowbird. It will be on February 20th (Sat.) @ 12:00 pm. Here's the supply list: Basic class kit, scissors, wet/dry adhesive, glue dots, pop-up squares, dark brown ink pad, "Chestnut Roan" edging ink, black & brown fine point pens, crop-a-dile (if you have one). There's only room for 10, so you'll want to sign up soon:)
