Christmas Cards

This card was cut using a template I made from the "Cricut" digital cutter. I used the "Mistletoe" paper line and polkadot ribbon. The holly leaves are from "Prima". I made a tag from red cardstock, stamped it with a candy cane and a snowflake, added a punched snowflake and a large red gem brad.

Christmas Cards

This card I used the large print colored words for the background. I cut scalloped edges in the black & cardinal print papers, punched holes & tied ribbons through them. I cut the trees using my "Slice", which I love, love, love! I used the Fa La La design card because it had the same cute trees as the "Misletoe" paper line.

Christmas Cards

This card is a hanging ornament cut from the cardinal paper from the "Mistletoe" line. I used the words paper for the background and the black polkadot for the band. The hanger was stitched with floss and the ornament was embellished with some leaves from "Prima" and a ribbon flower from "Maya Road". I stitched the snowflake with ribbon using a template from "Bazzil" and added silver charms to add bling.

Christmas Cards

I found this paper, "Mistletoe" from Making Memories, and was inspired to make some cards. This paper line has some beautiful designs & the colors are perfect. I used black as an accent color and edged everything in black. The star I cut and stitched with floss in green to match the paper. The circle was punched out & stamped. The stamped image is from "Stampendous", a star led the way, I layered it over black glitter paper. In keeping with the star theme, I used a star stick pin through the ribbon and black button.

Treat Bag

This is the back of my bag. The background paper is "Words" from Spook Alley. I cut a cauldron and broom from cardstock. I tied raffia around the cauldron & made a handle from wire. The smoke from the cauldron is covered with glow-in-the-dark glitter. The top of the bag is framed with "Candy Corn" paper that I scalloped. The handle I made from twisted wire and ribbon.

Treat Bag

I was asked to make a treat bag for Yellowbird Scrapbook Store. I came across this paper line from Making Memories- Spook Alley. I fell in love, love, love with this paper and it inspired my bag. The witch's legs I cut from gray & black glitter stripe, perfect for stockings! The background paper is called "Icon Stripe", but I used the back side with the dots. I cut the boots from a thick glitter paper in red/orange, & trimmed them out with gold nailheads. I used black tulle with a tiny spider hanging down to frame the top of her legs.

"Spider's Web" Collection 09

Utilizing "Spider's Web" paper line from My Mind's Eye, I created this five card collection for my class at Yellowbird Scrapbooking in El Cajon, CA. I embossed a Quickutz metal sheet using an embossing folder from Cuttlebug & antiqued it with black paint. The scalloped border was from the die-cut sheet in the Spider's Web line, and the Inkadinkado web stamp in grey ink provides a background for the black glitter spider by Martha Stewart.

"Spider's Web" Collection-09

The base for this card was a piece of transparency that was cut to size & folded. The background was made layering shades of gray paper. The moon was punched from the die-cut sheet ( "Spider's Web"). The rickety fence & eyeballs were stamped using the same set from "Craft Lounge". I designed the swirly tree and cut it from black paper, then added stickles to it for a shimmer effect.

"Spider's Web" Collection-09

For this card I used a stamp set from "The Craft Lounge". The swirly tree was stamped first in black ink, then using glue I flocked the image with black "Sparkly Fluff" ( also from "Craft Lounge"). This was a fun technique, it's another way to add texture and interest.

"Spider's Web" Collection-09

I made the spider web background with an embossing folder from Cuttlebug & color core paper, then sanded it. I love this technique, it adds so much texture. The plaid border, bracket, & web circle were punched from the die-cut sheet. I tied raffia through the button, stamped "Trick or Treat" on the strip of paper, added the spider (which is a Cuttlebug die) & tiny shimmer tiles to the right of the stamp.

"Spider's Web" Collection-09

The pumpkin and stem were designed by me & cut from "Lots of Dots" and solid black paper from "Spider's Web". I curled wire and punched leaves for the base of the stem, and used black stickles to add shimmer. The border was created with a scallop punch, a strip of patterned paper, and black floss that was pierced and stitched using one of my favorite things- my Bazzil stitches & templates.
